Amazon Fleet Adding Lion Electric Vehicles
As you may already know, Lion Electric (Lion), an innovative manufacturer of zero-emission vehicles, announced last year that H.K. Truck Center will distribute, sell, and service Lion’s complete lineup of zero-emission buses and trucks in the state.
Just today, we saw Lion trucks have been added to an Amazon fleet!
The particular truck added to the fleet has a range of up to 180 miles per charge!
All of Lion’s vehicles are purpose-built for electric propulsion from the ground up and are manufactured at Lion’s Canadian facility, which has a current capacity to produce 2,500 electric trucks per year. Over the last decade, Lion has established itself as a leader in the all-electric school bus industry, having delivered over 300 all-electric school buses in the U.S. and Canada with over 6 million miles driven since 2016.
Are you ready to go all-electric? Funding is available for NON-CDL Class 6 electric vehicles! To be eligible for this pilot program, you must be a business or institution registered in NJ and plan to buy a new zero-emission medium-duty vehicle, which will operate 50% or more of its vehicle miles within either the greater Camden or greater Newark areas.
