H.K. Truck Center can tailor a Preventative Maintenance Program to your fleets’ specific needs. We understand that each fleet of trucks has different needs.
Minimize liability negligence for fleets by participating in H.K. Truck Center’s Preventative Maintenance Program!
Fleets needing PM services require a consistent schedule in which their vehicles receive preventative maintenance.
As most fleets operate under “severe” duty, PM intervals should be held at a slightly shorter prior of time than the vehicle owner’s manual recommends. Efforts should be made to average vehicle service life, especially on parts likely to wear. This minimizes costs so vehicle spends less time in the shop. The average miles reached when a part failed should be calculated into its maintenance time. Scheduling may have to be individually set as different vehicles require different amounts of care. Vehicle maintenance should not be set too often, as it is neither cost nor time effective.
Precluding maintenance, fleet managers should sign off the vehicle for maintenance and fill out basic information, as well as an included complaints/concerns, feedback section for both the fleet managers and primary driver.

Post maintenance, a checklist form with a comments section should be filled out showing what was done and where adjustments were made. Consider the following:
