HK Truck Center’s Health and Safety First Amidst Coronavirus (COVID-19)
The health and safety of our customers and staff is our highest priority. Due to the evolving spread of COVID-19, we have updated our business practices to further comply with CDC’s social distancing protocol.
As an essential business, H.K. Truck Services Inc. South Plainfield and Parsippany locations are both open and operating under normal business hours. We are implementing operational changes to reduce contact between employees and customers and will be taking the following steps to keep everyone safe while continuing to serve our valued customers:
Our service departments are open and fully operational. Bring your trucks in during this downtime to get ready for the economic upturn that will follow. As always, we strongly encourage making appointments in advance whenever possible. Please call 908-754-3330 Ext. 1 or email email@example.com to schedule your truck in for service. Provide us with your company info, contact name, phone number, email address, and description of issues, services, or repairs you would like done to your truck. Once the truck arrives at HK please remain in the vehicle and call the service department. If we need any further information we will ask you at that time. Once completed, please exit the premises. Our doors will not be open for walk-ins.
To pick up your vehicle, please ensure all payments are settled before you arrive. Please call before you come to pick up your vehicle and again when you arrive. Once here, please remain in your vehicle. We will stage the vehicle outside of our facility and provide directions on how to retrieve your vehicles and keys. All trucks are being wiped down and sanitized after service. In addition, all service areas and doors are being sanitized every 2 hours during our hours of operation.
If you require a courtesy car for your driver, you must request one in advance. We will email our authorization form which must be filled out and returned with a copy of your driver’s license. Once you arrive, follow the steps above and we will notify you of what car was reserved for you. All cars are being wiped down and sanitized between customers.
Our parts departments are stocked and ready to help. We are continuing to offer pick up, delivery, and UPS deliveries as usual. If you need parts it is always best to call ahead of time. You will be unable to walk into our parts counters for orders. Please call our parts department at 908-754-3330 Ext. 2 or email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org. Have the year, make, model, and full VIN number ready. Please arrange any payment for your parts ahead of coming to pick them up. When you arrive at HK to pick up, please stay in your vehicle and call the parts department and your parts will be brought outside for you.
We have clean and sanitized trucks ready to rent! If you are in need of a rental truck, please call 908-754-3330 Ext 5 or email email@example.com. We will be completing all necessary paperwork and payment via email. Once all paperwork is complete, please notify us of your pick up time and call when you arrive. We will provide instruction on where the truck is located and where to find the keys.
If you need to contact the sales department please do so via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will reply to you promptly. We will not be accepting any walk-ins at this time.
