H.K. Truck Center Delivers Electric School Buses to Yarmouth School Department

The town of Yarmouth, Maine made big strides in reducing their carbon footprint when their first two electric buses were delivered to the School Department on February 9th, 2023. These Lion Electric LionC buses were purchased using federal grant funding with the help of H.K. Truck Center’s Lion Electric partnership.
The community has been amazed at how quiet and comfortable the new buses are, and the schools give great thanks to Peter Fromuth (Yarmouth Sustainability Committee), and Bruce Randolph (Direct of Business Operations), for their tireless efforts to make this project a reality.
We spoke to Bruce Randolph about his experience with H.K. Truck Center and he mentioned that “H.K. has been great. The interactions were greatly limited compared to most businesses, having to go through many different people. They were prompt, on top of things, communicative, and responsive.”
